Bellevue Movers Helping You Let Go of Clutter before a Move
April 19, 20138 Must Have Cleaning Tools
May 6, 2013One of the best reasons to move to Seattle is that there is no limit to the fun activities for families. If your family is like mine, we love doing things together that get us up and moving. Sure, museums and movies are fun, but we enjoy making memories while also playing.
Here are a few of our favorite places in Seattle to have fun as a family.
Wilderness Awareness School
Located about 40 minutes outside of Seattle in Duvall, this one-of-a-kind school has a variety programs for adults and kids alike. From Nature Preschool to Summer and Weekend Camps for the kids, to Mentoring and Wilderness Courses for adults, many Seattle families take courses here every year.
Indoor Skydiving
Most parents of young kids don’t think about taking them skydiving, it seems counterintuitive and not the best way to earn a ‘parent of the year’ award. But indoor skydiving is becoming a popular family activity, and is safe for kids ages three and up. Located in Tukwila, iFly Seattle is guaranteed to be an experience that your kids won’t soon forget.
Sandbox Sports
Perfect for families with kids who like to dig, but parents who don’t want the mess, this giant indoor sandbox is a fun way to get out of the sun and still have fun. You will like that the sand in the box is cleaned and they provide toys, and your kiddo will love the small slides and digging for hours.
Fox Hollow Family Farm
Kids love animals, it’s a fact. Enjoy friendly animals and get back to nature at this special farm. From riding lessons, to picking fresh vegetables, and interacting with animals, this farm is a quick drive from Seattle in Issaquah and well worth the trip.
Marysville Skate Inn
Remember how much fun it was to roller skate when you were a kid? Show off of your moves and teach your kids how to skate backwards at Marysville Skate Inn, just north of Seattle. Skating is also very affordable, certainly less expensive and more fun than a movie.
